Power of Flower Festival of Music and Cannabis

Last August, Santa Cruz Naturals created and hosted the first ever music and cannabis festival: the Power of Flower Festival. It was a space for music and a love of cannabis to mingle and was hosted at Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds with performances by Ozomatli, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, George Porter & Runnin’ Pardners, Space Heater, and Diego’s Umbrella.

This event was unique, in that attendees were able to openly consume cannabis and celebrate the joy and relief it brings to all. We invited some of our favorite brands along to help festival goers experience some of the most stellar cannabis available on the market. Some of our favorite local companies were in attendance: Santa Cruz Roots, Skunk Feather, Santa Cruz Mountain Tops, and Legion of Bloom.

This festival resulted in a truly rewarding experience for the community. Colin Disheroon, CEO of Santa Cruz Naturals and founder of the Power of Flower Festival, saw the gathering as an opportunity to help destigmatize cannabis and give back to the community, which he exemplified by donating all proceeds from the festival to local nonprofits.

While Santa Cruz Naturals had planned to host the 2nd Annual Power of Flower Festival in August of 2020, we were stymied by COVID-19. Our hope is to bring this community celebration back next year, with top talent and more of your favorite cannabis brands.
