We're Open ... With Some Changes

Santa Cruz Naturals, a licensed cannabis retailer with dispensaries in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties, has been declared an “Essential Service” by both counties and the State of California.

Dispensaries operating during “Shelter in Place” orders must follow strict social-distancing requirements mandated by the State and the County that they are operating in.

To protect our staff and community, we have implemented strict social distancing and COVID-19 prevention measures at our Aptos and Watsonville locations. Please see below for a full list of policy changes.

Aptos Policy Changes

  • Delivery is available from (11pm-7pm)

  • Cash and debit only

  • An ATM is available

  • No restroom use

  • Face coverings are required for service

Aptos Priority Service Showroom

A full dispensary showroom experience is available curbside for:

  • Medical clients with CDPH cards

  • Veterans

  • Clients over 55

Watsonville Policy Changes

is open from 8am-7:45pm. Both On-Line ordering and Showroom services are available, with strict social distancing guidelines in place.

  • We are open from 8:00am - 7:45pm

  • Both On-Line ordering and Showroom services are available

  • Strict social distancing guidelines are in place

  • Mandatory Hand-Sanitizing for clients entering the dispensary

  • There is a limit of 10 clients inside at a time

  • Happy Hour is only available for In-Store Purchases ONLY

  • Happy Hours are 8am-9am, 2pm-3pm, and 7pm-7:45pm

  • Face coverings are required for service


Full Showroom Services

Our Watsonville/Royal Oaks location is one of the only dispensaries in the region to still offer a complete in-store retail experience - just a short drive away (thank you, empty highways).


How We're Keeping You Safe

Staff Training

  • Santa Cruz Naturals is conducting regular staff trainings at both locations to keep employees up to date on best practices to reduce the potential spread of the virus and how to recognize its signs and symptoms.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals is utilizing all data-driven resources, including those issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the Santa Cruz and Monterey County’s Department of Health for businesses, to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 in our community.

  • Our staff understand and implement the practice of regular handwashing and sanitization.

  • Our staff have been instructed to stay home if they suspect that they may have been exposed to the virus. *To date, no staff or clients of Santa Cruz Naturals have reported any potential exposures.


Safety Precautions

  • Santa Cruz Naturals has installed hand-sanitizing stations at every door and register in both of our locations. We ask that both clients and staff to please sanitize your hands before entering the building and whenever they feel necessary once inside.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals locations have installed Floor Markers to indicate 6-Foot Separation between customers.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals Watsonville is currently limiting its occupancy to 10 Clients within the building at a time.

  • Both Santa Cruz Naturals locations have HEPA Air Filtration systems extensively throughout the facilities.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals APTOS is currently under Online Ordering/Pick-Up and Delivery Only Mandate.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals has instructed staff to double the frequency and time of handwashing that they already practice.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals is temporarily reducing the number of staff that we have on site in order to increase the amount of space between people at any given time.

  • Santa Cruz Naturals is temporarily implementing a “no-touch, no-smell” policy for any product.

  • All surfaces at Santa Cruz Naturals are wiped down with Clorox Wipes frequently throughout the day, with high-touch surfaces such as door handles, glass and tablets being wiped almost constantly.

  • Extensive COVID-Prevention Procedures have been implemented for our Inventory Receiving Process
    We ask that any community member of Santa Cruz Naturals who is concerned that they may have been exposed to COVID-19, who has a fever, or feels otherwise ill to please contact a doctor before leaving your home.

  • Product Promo Days will continue, but In-Store Demos are postponed until further notice.
