About Pure Plant Herbals 

What once began as a small collective project is now a prominent, women-owned cannabis wellness business in California. With the end goal of working with local farmers to promote environmental sustainability, Pure Plant Herbals creates the finest cannabis infusion products for health and wellness. 

Pure Plant Herbals offers the highest quality, most potent artisanal blend of sungrown cannabis-olive oil infusions. This company found its start as a collective working with Santa Cruz Naturals over five years ago. What had truly begun the business was the passionate owner, Szuszi, who feels her purpose is to heal people and the planet.

With a degree in nutritional anthropology, Szuszi found her calling as an herbalist after college. Only experimenting with cannabis twice in her life, it never really seemed like anything that could be beneficial to her. 

It wasn’t until her beloved dog and close friend both became deathly ill that she began to do serious research on cannabis as a form of complementary medicine. With an extensive background in herbs and a partner with cannabis experience, it soon became clear to combine the two to create delicious, therapeutic tinctures.

Advancing on in their local cannabis wellness brand, Pure Plant Herbals partnered with another local cannabis enthusiast; Dr. Malka. 

Together, they searched for the highest CBD ratio and potency in specific cannabis strains.The search for the highest CBD ratio was intentional, due to how beneficial CBD is at mitigating THC's negative effects. 

Eventually, they found an enthusiastic herbal medicine maker in Northern California who shared a few yields of the rich CBD strain, ACDC. With this CBD-rich cannabis material, Pure Plant Herbals was able to create their first CBD 20:1 formula. 

Next, they brought it to Santa Cruz Naturals and launched the first CBD 20:1 in Santa Cruz County. Within a year, Pure Plant Herbals blossomed into a varietal bouquet of herbal medicine tinctures - with plenty of choices of CBD and THC ratios for all different types of consumers and therapeutic effects. 

Pure Plant Herbals was the first true non-psychoactive, non-alcohol-based CBD olive oil tincture available in Santa Cruz county. These innovative microdosed, ratio blends of cannabinoids changed the game for the reputation of bad-tasting tinctures. 

Considering its positive health impacts and overall taste, Pure Plant Herbals goes by the slogan, “Taste the Difference.”
